simon has offered to co-ordinate members who might be interested in joining this popular walking festival in a hidden, but beautiful part of Shropshire. There is a campsite, but hostel and B and B accommodation is available for those interested in joining.
The walking festival is in its 10th year, and also celebrates the 50th Anniversary of the Offa's Dyke National trail. There are a wide range of walks (over 30) appealing to walkers, artists, historians, bird watchers, cider buffs(a Dunkertons Orchard walk!) et al, with evening festivities, including a casserole evening, fish and chip supper walk, and a Grande finale evening of live music and dancing. For all the details check out www.kingtonwalks.org . Each event has a nominal charge and many use an organised bus service.
Let Simon know by 11th July that you are interested and he can point you in the right direction for accommodation.
