Fantastic route from Elmley Castle round to Great Comberton before a stiff climb up to the top, then back around to Elmley Castle. Chocolate Box cottages galore, and pretty sure there’s a pub in the village

Day walk – Purton 7.5 miles
Circular walk across fields to Purton where we will visit the 'Purton Ship Graveyard also known as Purton hulks . We will follow the towpath , bordered on one side by the Gloucester and Sharpness canal and River Severn on the other . Returning via Sharpness Docks and fields and farm

This 10 mile walk circuits through Rodmarton, Cherington and Culkerton. Option of coffee and cake afterwards towards Frampton Mansell ( a short drive away).
