  • Morning walk – Northleach 5 miles

    A delightful walk heading out from the 'Old Prison' cafe at Northleach taking in Hampnett and then heading along the tops with fine views into Wiltshire.

  • Evening walk

    It should be a lovely chance to get out on a summer's evening though, so watch this space and fingers crossed for fine weather.

  • Day walk – Donnington Way (part 2) 10 miles

    Episode two of the linear adventure: Wick Rissington to Sherborne. Today's walking on this epic trail, visiting a large number of Donnington pubs is 10 miles with hydration opportunities en route and at the end at the Post Office (if we make it in time). Still bring food and drink as it's SUMMER!

  • Ghost walking tour – Gloucester

    It's nearly Halloween. Want to find out more about haunted Gloucester? S is steeling her nerve to book tickets with 'Ghosts and Giggles', a fun 2.5 hour guided walking tour around historic Gloucester, charting reported ghostly events

  • Day walk Dursley 9 miles-ish

    The woods are full of bluebells in the spring and rich leaf colour in the autumn. A scenic and hilly route from Dursley - around nine miles It may head north to Hetty Peggler's tump or south to the Tyndale monument.

  • AGM

    The AGM is a chance to meet up, enjoy some free food and organise the willing volunteers to keep our happy band of wanderers together, enjoying walks and exploring the countryside for at least the next year. Please come along and have your say.

  • Day walk Huntley, May Hill, Newent Woods

    Some great views of the Severn from the top of May Hill will be on offer today as Sean weaves us through 9 miles, climbing up May Hill, and going back down through Newent Woods and Glasshouse.

  • Day walk Donnington way (part 4) Bourton to Ford

    So many pubs, so little time. Another leg of this historic pub trail. Initially following the R.Windrush, we pass through two 'Guitings', Kineton and Naunton (but not in that order). Lots of potential pints enroute.
