Evening Walk – Haresfield/ Standish Woods 4.8 miles
We will begin by walking over the beacon to Standish to see the site of the old hospital and return via Standish woods to enjoy the flowers. 6pm start for a lovely evening walk and views.

The walk is 8 miles taking in the Cotswold Way with a possibility of a pub, teashop or picnic lunch at Painswick en-route. Afterwards the Tewksbury Town Band will be performing at Stratford Park’s band stand until 16:00. Refreshments available at the Leisure centre and drinks at Museum in the Park.
The walk includes Painswick Beacon, Spoonbed Farm, Holcombe House (once a wool merchants), Kimsbury Hill Fort and Prinknash Park. 6.5 miles with mainly good paths with seven stiles.
A 2 hour meander exploring the historic, and rather exclusive Battledown estate, over the hills to Ham and a return via fields and allotments. Good views over Cheltenham and beyond and a pub to finish.
We will walk the five islands and take boat trips galore! If spaces come up, he will let us know. If not going, keep an eye on Facebook for photos of puffins, seals, fish and chips, sea-spray and beaches. Oh...and ice-creams.
A great circular walk heading to Sheepscombe via the Witcombe Reservoir and circuiting back through Beechwoods and Climperwell.
