• Evening walk – Great Witcombe

    An evening walk from Great Witcombe, up onto the Cotwold way for the views and back down. Length approx 3.5 mile, with a long steady climb, undulating middle section and a steady descent. Possibility of a pub at the end

  • Day walk – Cockleford-Colesbourne

    Enjoy a great gander across the escarpment before heading across the hills and into the valleys. Refreshment in the Green Dragon afterwards would be polite where there is a pub and a cafe.

    Enjoy a Bank holiday trip to Hay on Wye on this camping adventure! Hay is perfect for browsing around bookshops, enjoying a coffee shop and starting a number of fine walks including up to Hay Bluff, following the mighty river to Glasbury or over the hills from Peterchurch.

    a lovely Circular out from the ever-popular Miserden towards the Whiteway, returning via Caudle Green and Miserden Park. The choice between the pub and the Garden centre tea room is a tricky one...but only one sells lunch and beer and the other sells cake. Coin anyone?

    Today's walk takes in Painswick Beacon, Spoonbed Farm, Holcombe House (once a wool merchants), Kimsbury Hill Fort and Prinknash Park. 6.5 miles in total with mainly good paths and seven stiles.
