• Day walk: Slad & Thorougham 13miles

    An up-and-down beautiful walk in a variety of terrain and including woodland, remote valleys, hidden footpaths, remnants of a neolithic burial chamber, streams, and a good chance of spotting wildlife including deer.

  • Day walk: North Nibley 10 miles

    A 10 mile circular taking in spectacular views from Drakestone Point, Heartbreak Hill and the Tyndale Monument. Although much of the terrain is flat, there are two long, steep climbs and one long descent, providing hearty exercise!

  • Evening walk : Tewkesbury 4 miles

    This evening walk is 4 miles long, including fields pavements and lanes with 3 stiles. Some river views, old buildings and ancient alleyways

  • Day walk: Monkton Coombe 10 miles

    Following the Kennet Avon Canal to Bradford upon Avon, which is elevated above the River Avon for much of the route, crossing over the river twice at the Dundas Aqueduct and Avoncliff Aqueduct

  • Morning walk: Purton 5.25 miles

    We’ll walk along farm tracks over fields to Purton following the canal we visit the ships graveyard, IRB station and lock, finally thru Sharpness for some industrial landscapes

  • Evening walk: Cranham 4-5miles

    An evening's perambulation in the Cranham area. Big views and atmospheric woods with chances of spotting deer. Or beer? There could be a pub at the end.

  • Weekend away: Beacons Way

    Staying at Llandeusant Youth hostel. Saturday – walks include: Craig y Nos - Llandeusant 10 miles - there are two different routes, a high route and low route. The high route has a 760 metre climb, we will decide on the day which one to take, depending on the weather.

  • Day walk: Llantwich Major

    Llantwit Major to Barry (returning by train) This is a predominantly cliff-top day-long walk with possibility of some beach walking dependent on tides. Stunning views of this Jurassic coastline.
