So many pubs, so little time. Another leg of this historic pub trail. Initially following the R.Windrush, we pass through two 'Guitings', Kineton and Naunton (but not in that order). Lots of potential pints enroute.

This lovely, circular walk is about 9 miles taking in Stanton, Stanway, Snowshill and Laverton. Picnic lunch at Snowshill so bring food and drink.

Joining up with a Cotswold warden on one of their jaunts, the walk will take us along the Golden Valley to St Mary’s Mill, climb up to Hyde then on to Minchinhampton village and common, the lanes of Swells Hill to Stroud Brewery and the canal to Brimscombe.

We will head us south towards Parkend before swinging up and around Nagshead Plantation. We then stride up towards Purple Hill and then back past Cannop Lakes.
