• Day walk – Chalford 7miles

    An exploration of the area around Chalford and Oakridge. Tracks, fields, woodland, paved sections, roads and lanes, some short steeper sections are all on offer today. The walk includes two nature reserves and there are ponies and horses on route.

  • Day walk – Malvern 10 miles

    A favourite walk from Holly Bush, straight up to stroll over the tops of Hangman’s Hill, British Camp and more until we get to Worcestershire Beacon. Skipping round the peaks on the return and plenty of refreshments opportunities along the way.

    Curious about maps, what are grid references, what do all those dotted / dashed lines show and how does that allow anyone to plan and go for a walk. Paper map, walk book or app? Come along with your questions and a map

  • Practice map skills walk

    A short, slow half day somewhere (Winchcombe or Painswick Valley) to practise transferring what's on the map into the landscape and the walk route into to the landscape.

    If you haven’t joined the quiz group yet, today is your day.. Come and help make up some teams and have a fun evening at the Brown Jug on the Bath Road, Cheltenham. This is where everything you studied at school might come in handy!! Food available at the pub.

  • Day walk – Tetbury to Avening 11 miles

     We follow the old railway path to the Trouble House Inn, across fields & past the 'Roundabout' to pretty Avening. Return using the Macmillan Way to Chavenage & back into Tetbury

  • Day walk – Donnington way (part one) 8 miles

    The walk has been on the cards awhile - the first leg of the 8-leg Donnington Way. The whole route's theme is the 15 pubs of the Donnington Brewery. Today's section goes from Stow on the Wold to Chastleton.

    A lovely walk-through Horsley woods to Kingscote returning to Horsley via Binley farm 4.6 miles. On the way, we will enjoy the Woods, farmland and endless views.

  • Morning Walk – Cricklade Fritillaries 6 miles

    Today's walk heads out at 10am along the canal to Cricklade to marvel at the rare snakeshead fritillaries filling the water meadows. Our return takes us back along the disused railway to Aston Keynes for the return back along another section of canal.

  • Day Walk – Ashleworth

    A mainly flat, fairly open 7.5 mile circular walk from Ashleworth taking in Foscombe, Corse Wood and returning via Hasfield, Barrow Hill and Ashleworth Court.
