Glorious Gloucestershire and it’s best for this excellent trip out in the Stroud Valleys. Apparently some 500+ metres of ascent, more than a wander up Pen-y-Fan!

Despite a forecast for rain all day. 6 of us braved a 10 mile walk starting from Coaley Peak. Quite a hilly walk via Owlpen, Newmarket on the edge of Nailsworth and Woodchester Vineyard joining the Cotswold Way back to the start. The rain did eventually arrive but only for the last mile.

As you can see, when you’re out with Gloucestershire Outdoor Group, your walking companions enjoy a little banter and laugher along the way.
