Hangman’s Stone near Northleach was our starting point. No idea of its origin, other than the theory that it marked the site of parish boundaries, where such deeds were often done.
A good stretch from there over to the lush village of Farmington, followed by a quick stop for a pint in Northleach and the rare sighting of a multi-million-pound 1960s Ferrari, before heading back to base.
