Atmospheric is the word that most comes to my mind when I think of Prinknash Abbey near Painswick Beacon, and some of these pictures, snapped on this Gloucestershire Outdoor Group ramble certainly show that
After a misty 10am start from Prinknash Abbey, we headed through the Abbey’s atmospheric graveyard towards the woods to join the Cotswold Way.Our descent took us past Spoonbed Farm and then a curve around to ascend Painswick Beacon, where there were fine views from the top.Some mud, but Spring flowers added colour.The Abbey tea room provided lunch! Lovely!
