Having fun walking Gloucestershire’s hills and valleys is a key part of our Outdoor Group activities, but sometimes, we do step indoors and have a different kind of run.
For the ‘grand prix’ of around £12 each a keen band enjoyed the thrills of slot car racing at the Dowty Sports Club in Churchdown. Essentially an adult-sized Scalextric, the indoor course offered the chance to perfect live the dream of motor racing. A bottle of fizz for the winner and a great evening.
