A regular stomping ground for Gloucestershire Outdoor Walking Group. In our 75-year history, I wonder how many times this route has featured.

Starting from the Green Dragon means ending at the Green Dragon! A vigorous 11-mile walk taking in some of the very best of glorious Gloucestershire and the Cotswolds. We followed the edge of the escarpment near Wistley Hill before looping round to Kilkenny.

Lunch gave us the opportunity to gaze out towards Shipton Oliffe before circling back through Hilcot and Upper Coberley, finally returning to the Green Dragon for a well-deserved glass of something refreshing.
