Walking in Gloucestershire produces such wonderful variety, and our friendly outdoor group makes the most of this. Here’s what members enjoyed down in the Forest of Dean recently

Today’s walk at St Briavels, a challenging 9 mile walk, with lots of ups and downs, some very steep, and slippery slopes, as well as some rocky paths to negotiate, and several fallen trees to get round, under or over! But it was worth it, some great views along the way across the Wye Valley, and the rain mostly held off.

Make sure and check out our programme of events, and if you’re interested, you can be assured of a warm welcome!
