A great feature of our summer programme is the range of shorter evening walks, and this one was in my neck of the woods.

There were just four of us on the Thursday evening walk. The highlight was seeing several hares running around the recently harvested fields.

Great views throughout the walk and, with a bit of cloud cover, the temperature was very comfortable.

We visited Hampnett Church and finished by walking through the grounds of Northleach Church before a well-earned drink in The Sherborne Arms.
