Walking all the way, there and back, with a stop at Cheddar to round off what sounds like a superb outing for the Gloucestershire Outdoor Group.
The last few days of the group Dorset trip went really well.A final walk in the area, exploring the hills around Cerne Abbas. Wild weather but a great chance to view the ‘giant’ at the end.Matt from Dorset Wildlife provided a great talk about the work of the centre where we stayed, including film of the recent beaver release.Our final meal made the most of the food in the fridge and on the day of departure, a number of adventures on the way home including Montacute NT, an 8 mile walk plus a group scramble for a hardy team near Cheddar Gorge.
