At GOG (Gloucestershire Outdoor Group) we have events for all levels of ability, and mud tolerance. This is a great example of one of our shorter walks in the Cotswolds.
A definite pause in the wet weather for today’s 5.5 miles from Miserden.Our route initially took us along paths to Honeycombe Farm where some cute goats benefitted from some pampering. From here, we skirted the woods and wandered through Wishanger Farm towards the historic Whiteway settlement.The final return via Miserden Woods brought us back in time for lunch at the ever popular Carpenter’s Arms.
And I can certainly vouch for the beer, and the chips at the Carpenter’s!
