Several times a year, Gloucestershire Outdoor Gouop walks a longer trail in stages. A little organisation for car sharing is well worth the effort!
What a lovely start to the Winchcombe Way where we completed just over12 miles of this four- part, long-distance path.Heading out with a steep climb from Winchcombe our route meandered around the high Cotswolds taking in Temple Guiting and enjoying a quick stop (for some) at the pub at Ford.Added delights of of new- born lambs in fields along with daffodils and violets in the hedges contributed to the wonderful feeling of Spring.Shopping opportunities were provided by veg stalls and a curious display of tempting hand-made toadstools.Snowshill was our finish from where the next 10 mile section will leave.
Keep your eyes out for the next leg on the Spring Summer programme due out soon. Everyone welcome to join!
